The Invitbox Partner Dashboard gives you the capability to manage all users for all your client accounts in one location if you have a Parent/Child setup. Note that only the Parent account has a Partner Dashboard.
If you are an Admin user on a Parent account, you can access the following functionality via the dashboard:
- add users to be associated with client accounts
- edit users to update their privileges for each client account
- add and remove users to/from your client accounts
- add new client companies to your partner account
To access the Business Partner Dashboard you need to log into the 'Parent' account, then go to the Admin Tab > Partner Dashboard and click edit. A screen similar to this will appear listing your current client companies and available users:
From this screen you can add new client companies (child accounts) and new users by clicking the Add buttons on either panel.
Please note: new users added via the dashboard can only be associated with your client/child companies, i.e. they will not have access to your Parent account. If you wish to add users to your Parent account, go to Admin > Users and add them from there.
Assigning Users to a Client Company
On the Client Companies panel double-click a company or select a company and click Assign Users. The following screen should appear:
The left-hand panel lists the users currently associated with the selected company. New users can be added to the company by double-clicking users from the list in the right-hand panel, or selecting users and using the arrow buttons. Once a user is added to a company their privileges should be set. When all updates have been made, click OK to save your changes. Any users added to a client company will receive an email asking them to accept their new role(s).
Similarly users can be removed from a company by double-clicking item in the left-hand panel or again, selecting and using the arrow buttons.
Assigning Companies to a User
If you add a new user, that user can be assigned to many companies by selecting a user from the dashboard Client Users list above and selecting Assign Companies. The following screen should display:
Here you can assign one or more companies to a single user. Again, this is done by selecting from the lists and using the arrow buttons (or double-clicking).
You will need to define the user's privileges for each company you add them to.
Clicking OK will save your changes and will send the user a single email asking them to accept all of their new roles.
Adding A New Client Company
To add a new company that will use your credits, Click on the ADD button under the Client Companies section and Simply fill in the registration form. You will be able to assign users to any new companies you create immediately from the main partner dashboard screen.
