The 'Go to Invitbox' button you see in Xero whilst viewing the bill details, will show you the invoice image
When invitbox transfers data to Xero, we can keep it running fast during the connection by just sending the URL pointing to the location of the file in your invitbox filing cabinet. When you click the 'Go to invitbox' button it will use that URL and open a new tab in your browser and can display an image of the original bill.
When I click the 'Go to Invitbox' button, why does it ask me to log into invitbox?
The image you're seeing is inside the Invitbox filing cabinet so you need to be an Invitbox user with the correct privileges to see it. It won't however take you into the actual Invitbox account, but will just show you the invoice image, a button to print and a button to log out.
If the person wanting to see the invoice is not an Invitbox user already, then we suggest you set them up as an Auditor. Note that seeing they would then have a user login in, they could go to our homepage and log into your account.
So how does someone become an invitbox User? And what type of User should I be.
To become a User you need someone with an Invitbox account to add you.

Would you prefer to send the invoice image to Xero as an attachment?
If you prefer we can also send the invoice as an attachment. This way someone can view the invoice image without having an Invitbox login, but understand it will slow down the export. To turn on this option go to your Invitbox software settings. For more info click here
