US accounts do not synchronise Tax Code data with QuickBooks. Considering Invitbox is an Accounts Payable system and purchase tax is not claimed in the US (as it is in other countries), Tax Codes and Rates are not required. However, some bills may have sales tax specified which Invitbox will need to process.
While the process of mapping bills remains the same, to accommodate sales tax for US accounts the total Tax amount field has been enabled and can be edited by users if necessary. See the example Edit Invoice side panel below for more detail:
Please note: if sales tax exists on a bill as shown above, the tax amount will be apportioned across all the taxed rows on export to QuickBooks Online. To give the user clarity on the export amount of each row, the column Incl Tax is displayed to show the unit price of row with the tax included.
