Invitbox connects to AccountRight Live Basics, Standard & Plus
Invitbox connects to MYOB via the API
Because MYOB AccountRight Live (hereafter referred to as ARL) and invitbox are both cloud-based, the set-up and connectivity between the systems is seamless.
Step 1. Firstly, go to the Admin tab and choose ARL from the drop-down list in the Accountancy Software section.
Now click on 'CONNECT' - you will be redirected to the Accountancy Settings screen and prompted with the message below.
Then click OK.
Step 2. You will now be asked to log-in to MYOB
Here you use your personal MYOB username and password.
Invitbox will then retrieve a list of the MYOB company files you are associated with.
Once sign in is successful you will be returned to invitbox and the following message will be displayed.
You will then see the following log-in window where you need to enter your Company details;
Do NOT enter your personal login details here!
For 'Company' choose from the drop down list the MYOB ARL company you wish to connect to.
For 'User ID' enter your MYOB company file user ID
Then for 'Password' enter your company file password for your chosen company file.
If you do not have a Company User ID & Company Password, then type in 'Administrator' for the User ID and then leave the password field blank.
If you use Categories or Jobs, you can choose to import them at this point by selecting the check boxes.
Once you click OK, invitbox will connect to MYOB and retrieve your company file data. You will now be presented with a message like this below one confirming the data was imported.
You now have created a successful connection between invitbox and MYOB ARL.

Are you having trouble connecting?
If you do not know your Company file user ID and Company file password (to put into the 2nd login) then it is likely that you do not have one and therefore you should be able to use 'Administrator' for the User ID and then leave the password field blank. But if this does not work you may have had an Administrator password setup on your MYOB company account when it was originally set up and you will need to speak to the relevant person in your team, but if they do not know it, you will need to get this removed by phoning MYOB (this password cannot be simply reset)

Please note they may charge a small fee for doing this and someone from your team with the relevant authority will need to make the call to MYOB.
Are you still having trouble connecting?
Please note that if you are having trouble connecting/logging in to MYOB from Invitbox for the 1st time it may be that your user access within MYOB ARL has not been set to Online Access. You should ensure the my.MYOB user account authenticating is either an owner of an online AccountRight company file or has been shared access to one. There are more details in this MYOB support link;
